The Faculty of Business and Economics at Eastern Mediterranean University prepares students for a successful professional life in their field of choice. Our Faculty offers fourteen undergraduate programs through the Business, Banking and Finance, Economics, and Political Science and International Relations departments. In addition to these major departmental programs, students have an opportunity to earn double major and minor degrees based on their preferences.
The Faculty, which is accredited by the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA) and also a member of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) is among the most prestigious faculties in the Eastern Mediterranean region. Our Faculty has around 70 academic staff most being full time professors who conduct research in the fields of Economics, Management, Finance, Banking, Accounting, Marketing, International Relations and Political Science. All departments in the Faculty offer Master's and Ph.D. programs. Our graduate students in collaboration with their supervisors actively publish articles and contribute to research activities in the Faculty.
Our Faculty provides students with a high quality education and equips them with the skills and sense of responsibility which assist them in pursuing a successful professional life. Our students are provided with numerous opportunities for experiential learning such as case studies, internships and project competition.
The international nature of the Faculty, which hosts students from more than 30 countries within the confines of a very friendly, multicultural setting, is another significant contributor to students' personal development.
