With the latest achievements in accreditations, Eastern Mediterranean University continues to set positive samples for other institutions of higher education. The Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA) made striking comments about Eastern Mediterranean University on their official webpage stating that a total of 14 programs operating under EMU Business and Economics Faculty have fulfilled all conditions set by FIBAA and been granted FIBAA's accreditation until the end of 2019 Academic Year.
The official website of FIBAA also contains the views of Daisuke Motoki, the managing director of FIBAA, on EMU. Motoki expressed his pleasure in awarding FIBAA's accreditation to EMU and stated that during the inspection visit to EMU which took place in June 2013, he was deeply impressed by the organisational structure, academic programs, research and educational quality of Eastern Mediterranean University.
Motoki added that during the evaluation process of EMU, all members of the evaluation board were impressed by the strong international profile of EMU as the university attracted students from 85 different countries and academics from 35 countries.
