EMU Business and Economics Faculty Received FIBAA Accreditation

Eastern Mediterranean University Business and Economics Faculty's English-medium undergraduate programs have been awarded Germany based FIBAA's (The Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation) accreditation for a period of 5 years.

EMU Business and Economics Faculty dean Prof. Dr. Cem Tanova stated that a total of 12 programs (Business, International Trade and Business, Human Resources Management, Management Information Systems, Marketing, Public Administration, Banking and Finance, International Finance, Banking and Insurance, Economics, International Relations and Political Science) went through the accreditation process and were evaluated by a team consisting of 17 academics, businessmen and postgraduate student representatives from Germany, Sweden and Austria. Prof. Dr. Tanova also stated that it is due to the best efforts of the department chairs, academics and the accreditation committee members that the faculty has gained such an important accreditation.

Prof. Dr. Tanova put forth that passing the accreditation process of ENQA (The European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education) member FIBAA is extremely important in certifying the faculty's quality at the international arena. Prof. Dr. Tanova added that through FIBAA accreditation Eastern Mediterranean University has gained an outstanding achievement in the field of higher education, both at national and international levels.
