FBE Faculty Member Listed Among “The World’s Most Influential Scientists”

Prof. Dr. Salih Katırcıoğlu, Vice Rector for Financial Affairs and Faculty of Business and Economics, Department of Banking and Finance Faculty Member, has been featured in the list of “The World's Most Influential Scientists". The list was compiled through a study led by Stanford University in collaboration with a team of American and Dutch scientists. Prof. Dr. Katırcıoğlu has been placed among the most cited scientists in the world – in the top 2% worldwide.

According to the 2023 edition of the annual database, in the most impactful scientists list, Prof. Dr. Katırcıoğlu ranked 82^nd most influential scientist in Turkey. Moreover, Prof. Dr. Katırcıoğlu is also listed among the top academics globally and in Türkiye in the report's Career Impact List. Prof. Dr. Katırcıoğlu is listed in the top 48 thousand globally and 102^nd in Türkiye in the career-long impact ranking.
