Published Date: Thursday, 25 June 2026
The Faculty of Business and Economics held its Faculty Advisory Board meeting on Tuesday, June 16. At the meeting, we shared our faculty’s activities with our external stakeholders and received their feedback on our strategic planning efforts. For us, the teaching and learning process is entirely stakeholder- and student-centered. In this context, we place great importance on the views and recommendations of stakeholders outside the university; in shaping our faculty’s vision, mission, and program objectives, we consider domestic market and public-sector dynamics, global developments, and the perspectives of our external stakeholders together. We thank Dr. Pelin Yaylalı (Central Bank of the TRNC), Aysun Önet (KTTO), Ayşe Niyazi Onar (Human Resources Specialist), Erçin Tekakpınar and Belgin Özoğul (KTSO), Yusuf Tekinay (GİAD), and Özgür Ezel (our graduate), who attended the meeting as representatives of their institutions and shared their views. The information, views, and recommendations they shared will form one of the cornerstones of our strategic plan and curriculum renewal efforts. On behalf of my faculty, I would like to express my gratitude to them.
